Athletes are required to ride to away contests with their teams on the school bus. If they need to be dropped off at an away contest, they need a valid excuse with prior approval from the Athletic Director, Mr. Winn (BG HS principal). Examples of excused reasons to be dropped off include doctor appointments, funerals, SATs, college visits, etc. 

The Bainbidge-Guilford girls varsity soccer team repeats as the Downsville Flannary tournament 2026 champions. The team got a bye for round one after winning the tournament in 2025. In the second round they took on MAC opponent Delaware Academy where they secured the 1-0 victory. Sophomore Breegan George had an outstanding long-range shot over the DA keeper. BG goalkeeper Saige Barnard and the defense, led by Emma Kinter and Kamry Patten, secured the shutout.

The championship took place Saturday night against another MAC opponent, Sidney. The team would win the game 2-1. With the first goal coming from captain Keelan Ammon, assisted by Carleigh Judd. The second goal came from an Ammon corner kick and was scored by Maddie Ingham. Both goals came in the first half. It was a very well-fought match with both sides competing throughout the 80 minutes.

From BG Keelan Ammon, Breegan George and Kamry Patten were recognized as tournament All-Stars.
